After tackling a dinosaur a day, we didn’t stop there. We then took on the entire animal kingdom in An Animal a Day, with 365 incredible creatures to discover throughout the year.
Working closely with the author in batches, we created the design and page layouts for all 222 pages, then briefed four illustrators with compositional scamps and reference material. With all artists working simultaneously, we art-directed and project-managed the illustration through a strict schedule of review stages, bringing everything together into one beautifully cohesive book – and, most importantly, keeping the whole beast on schedule!
